Ok I am going to upgrade my electrical.

Ok I decided I am going to upgrade my electrical. I will be running a diamond 800.1 amp at 800 watt (maybe 900 I think its under rated a bit) at 1 ohm

I have a honda accord with a 70 amp alt. I know I might be able to get away with stock electrical on that but I don't want to have to worry about it and I am probably going to upgrade eventually. I also am going to need to add a speaker amp so ill definitely need to upgrade after that.

Ok so I got a lot of questions here,

What upgrade should I do first?

I am going to do the big 3

Add an alternator (What size should I add?)

and maybe a battery (Will adding a battery be necessary?

I was looking at some alts on ebay and they seem to be priced pretty good (I have a 1994 accord)

Will I need to get this installed or is it easy to do yourself?

an agm battery wont corrode or ever need water, are easier to charge and they have a longer life than a regular old oem wet cell. can a regular flooded wet cell battery work ? yes but a battery like a kinetik wont get all nasty from chemicals venting and spilling.

What if I keep the battery I have in the hood there and put a kinetik in the trunk. Would that work?

Accords do have space under the hood, so you can fit a pretty decent sized GM alt in there. Go with around 180amp, or just have the stocko rewound

its only 130 amps but its pretty cheap. Or are these things totally garbage?

no idead how good ebay stuff are, sometimes it's good sometimes it's not. Try and see if you're lucky. Or perhaps call a local alt. place and see if they can make you one.

it really depends on where you go, and if there ever is anything wrong you have them right there to help you. It's a tradeoff, depends on what you want

On 900 watts you could easily get away with a trunk batt and big 3

I'm getting away with >1000 on big 3 and deka intimidator 9A31 easy You prolly won't need an alt. However if you do, I've never heard of either of those companies, so I kno nothing about them
