alright first thing, i just put all the new stuff i got back in my car, power cables, and remote wires stayed in while it was getting fixed(ground wires also)

1st problem: getting interference, found out it is coming from the source, my head unit, i had obviously bad grounds for the antenna and normal ground for the head unit itself, whenever the antenna is hooked up the headunit will cut on without the ground wire being attached to anything, with it running like this is cuts out about 80% of the interference but the only problem having it liek this with the ground wire not hooked up i get a loud burp in the sub amp when it cuts off, when the normal ground is hooked up it doesnt burp, but i do get terrible interference with the door speakers, i took the normal ground wire and grounded it out to a metal piece in the dash, the interference went down by far but still not as low as when i just had it hooked up to the antenna and ground wire not hooked up to anything, i have no idea what to do, the interference is just like running noise from inside the head unit it seems like, this ones got me stumped guys. so right now i have it set up to where the sub amp burps when i cut the car off but get some interference on the door speakers, the other way would be have an assload of interference and the sub amp not burp at cut off. i dont know what to do.

2nd problem: i just got a sax 125.2, its running my door speakers, dont get me wrong its one hell of an amp and sounds amazing on my entry level rainbows, BUT tonight is the first real "stress" test Ive put everything through, i did a good 2 hours of pounding everything decntly hard, the sub is still strong and fine, now the sax 125.2 is acting funny, idk if it was hot or what but on high volume it will play music, hit everything good (highs/mids) for about 25-30 seconds, then the music kindve fades away, not the volume but just the speaker output, like it starts by taking away the highs, then just sounds like PLAIN, clarity is still good, but no highs, like the noise just depletes, if i turn the volume down for about 3 seconds you can hear the highs fade back in and i can turn it up for about 20 seconds or so then it will do the same thing, like i said idk if its to hot because i didnt give it time to cool or anything liek that. what could this be, ive thought maybe a bad connection on the battery? idk help with these problems PLEASE!

as far as the head unit, try grounding the rca's, pioneears are known for this.

mine had the same issues and grounding the rca's took care of it.

there is a thread on this vary issue here somewhere.

for the other problem, mabie you fried somthing in the xo's for your mids and highs. try putting a diffrent working speaker on the amp and see if the problem is still there.

well i tried posting thsi last night but int messed up, when i got up this morning i went out for about an hour or so and the sax 125.2 is doing fine, it just after i play stuff LOUD for a while that it does this, the amp is brand new.

and how do i go about grounding the rcas?

look at the cross overs for your mids and highs, see if they have a "light" style fuse or saftey device for the tweaters. if they do, mabie you were just pushing them hard enough to get that fuse or bulb hot. when that happens, it will lower the output of the tweater to help protect it from frying.

i mean but they sound straight now, its jsut after like everything has been used for a while and gotten hot, its like somthing goes into semi-protect mode, the amp has a strong connection to the batt, i had stuff playin earlier at high volume and volt meter was reading 14.2 volts.
