OK..decide for me HELP

My bost motor is built seats are in carpet is in...now its down to the system

I have the Baja BY400 amp

I have a new Kicker comp15 and I also have two Kicker 8 inch subs.

I can bridge the amp 300watts to the one 15 inch in a ported box that i can put up under the hood of my boat. but the 15 inch and box is a little heavy...we are talking about a speed boat...so yes weight matters a little.

Or

I can put in the 2 Kicker 8 inch subs with 2 x 200 from the amp... these 2 subs i can mount on the inside side panels of the boat one one the left one on the right side. wont need a box because the panels are closed in. less weight

But if the 15 is going to sound a HELL of a lot BETTER i dont care about the extra little weight.

But if the 8s will sound good and punchy i would rather not have that big box up under the hood of my boat.

But I want a sound that will thump!!!

I will be playing mostly rock southern rock etc...Motley Crue etc

Specs on subs and amps? Need more info to work with....how much space do you have exactly?

The amp(Baja BY400) is 2x200 or 2x100rms....1x300 bridged

the 15 in is a kicker comp 15 ...max watts peak 500 or 250rms

the 2 8 inch kickers i dont have the box but i think the are 100 watt subs

and space up under the hood is big enough for me to lay in

his boat obviously. the motors built. the seats and carpet is in and now hes doing the system.
