OK... Alpine type R's!!!

k I am getting 2 type r's i have convinced myself to do it so its going down. NOW... on to an amp which I really need and like need it under 180ish..... sounds dumb but O well. Now dont be mean but I am looking at this amp... yea yea its lanzar its probly the wrong specs but its "so called rating is 4000 watt" i know thats BS.... But I think it will be just about right to power the subs. Ok heres the link..

Also should I get 2 channel or mono???? I really dont have enough money for this all so I need to sell my other car lol. I can get the 2 subs for $241.... then that amp for 162. Then a box for around 50 ish or I build one and its going to be ported for sure.... and the 4 guage kit is set cause kirk owes me some money so he gots to get one for me. Ok so a grand total of around 450 ish... ugh still kind of high for what I want buy its going to have to do :-/. So tell me if this will work out ok.

umm like 180ish.... I really dont even want to spend this much on the whole system but I just hear to many good reviews for the type r's..

You can get the type rs on ebay for fairly cheap. I got two of them used with slight blemishes for $150 shipped. One has a crakced magnet cover and works fine the other is in great condition.

The Type R's like more power then they ar rated.Search the classified section for Amps people are trying to sell.Might find some real deals in there but be careful of scammers.

I'd say if you're going with the type R's you'll want to send about 600-800w RMS to each of em if they are 12's.

Get a good amp that does a true 1200-1600w RMS @ 1 ohm.

very true..... so ok I am basically going to go with mono channel amp just got to decide on which one.... so give me some ideas and plz keep it under 200 or around there.
