ohm's and stability

so im gonna get 4(four) 12" p1's.

-Single VC, 4ohm, 150watt RMS

1.) so i would need a 600 watt rms amp, correct?

2.) if i wire them in parallel, it would give the amp a 1ohm impedience, correct? but most amps arent stable at 1ohm, so would it default to 2ohm's?

3.) any reccommendations for amps? im trying to go cheap on this system, nothing too fancy.

4.) is there a way to wire these amps so they make 2ohm's? that way i dont burn out my amp.

oh. well, im dumb. lol.

most of the amps i glanced at were not stable at 1ohm. do u think u could compile a list of 1ohm-stable amps?

or maybe tell me the best 600+w RMS for under/about $200?

im guessing that hifonics one u reccommended me would fit this qualification, but is there any others? and/or does anybody have any other opinions/comments?

you can also look at 2-channel amps. theyre almost always 4 ohm stable when bridged.

y would i want it to be 4ohm stable? arent most mono amps stable @ 4ohm?

oh, and i looked through ebay, and saw some hifonics txi 7506 amps for cheaper than the model u listed, but its 750w RMS. how can that be? a 750 watt amp cheaper than a 600 watt amp of the same brand?

yeah but they dont produce much power. a 2-channel bridged puts out full power at 4 ohms. you can hook up 4 4-ohm subs as a 4 ohm load //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

so you can either get a 1 ohm stable mono amp and wire all the subs in parallel, or get a 2-channel and wire the subs in pairs, each pair in series, then parallel them together.

im not understanding the 2channel setup ur talking about

that would fit the budget, but i dont know about that sub. anybody with opinions of it? and im probably gonna get that amp/similar amp. from wat i can tell, hifonics seems to be a good brand.

There's always the TMA 12's as well. Made by JL Audio.

Or you could get 2 Alpine Type R 12's. Both together would love the 1200W rms.
