if they are d2's then you are fine.....

check the position of the "gain" knob and what hu are you running this off of?

it will say on the rubber thing on the bottom IIRC

and they have adjusted the gain numerous times and turned it right down to where i barely get any ****in base and it still overheats the amp and puts it in protect

there is 4 terminals on each sub.... 2 positives and 2 negatives.... and they are both 2 ohms on each sub, meaning it says 2 ohm twice

which means they are dual 2ohm subs and it is wired to 2ohm final load at the amp....did you get the model number of the amp?

does 1000wrms @ 2ohm....should be plenty to run them.

what wires do you have and are ALL connections tight?
