ohm load ??

i have a audioque1200d, i have my sub wired to 1 ohm.i checked it at the amp it says 1.1 thats fine. i turn on my deck and it says -24. xxx at the amp. what is goin on here? i have not turned the deck up to much. i was at volume 6 and i have my gain up a less then 1/4. what u guys think all is new stuff. my voltage is 14.4 at the amp, back battery and my front battery. its throwin me off cuz when i checked the speaker wire it say 1 ohm.

i though it was my volt meter but when ever i check the voltage it reades fine. and when i checked the speaker wire it said 1.0 .

thats not how you check the ohm load. you will need a clamp meter for that.
