Listen to a DD 9915 @ 6000 Watts hitting BIA BIA.
lol.. CLEANNNNNNNNNN and doing BIA BIA without sounding like crap on the low end is rarely found !

But hey.. its a DD .

Bia Bia has no low end in it at all. The lowest it drops is 50hz... 50hz is NOT low end.

i dont know about you, but 6kw on a 9515 - i can hardly imagine sounding clean.
clean is a result of sound quality.

sound quality infers that the 'music' being played is relativly equal in the decibel range across the frequency range.

Well were talking electronic bass tones here lol, so reproducing accurate sound isnt relative to instrumental bass. So whats clean ???? Also After it's so loud to the ear one of two things happens at 6000Wrms with a DD .. either you can hear how clean it is because your outside the car and everythings rattling, or your inside the car to long and when you get out youll never hear anything perminantly.

So .. If I am in a building and that same DD bumps at 6kw.. as I hear my neighbors all the time lol.. wished I had his //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif It sounds clean to me !!

btw ... electronic Bass + ported box = none SQ setup, so are we speaking of clean as in quality reproduction ??? which with a ported box.. we are sacrificing for efficiancy .

hitting that high of a freq at 6kw and not blowing a cone is impressive.

I am speaking in general, and not 4th orders or greater lol.. Horns etc...

Just a slapped together simple basic ported box generaly doesnt result in good SQ.

Are you on the cot juice? That statement of "fact" is such a gross generality that is horribly wrong so much more often than right, that it isn't even worth making. Sure there are terrible sounding portedd systems, there are also terrible sounding sealed systems. If ported systems are as inaccurate as you claim then why are most high end home speakers ported?

Way to try to backtrack. A thrown together box is going to sound terrible whether it be ported of sealed. Granted the sealed will have a little more room for error, but trying to denegrate the SQ of a ported enclosure based on putting a sub in the wrong ported box is just stupid. Goes right up there with "bandpasses ****" and "JL is over-rated."
