For your situation; Far left is .25ohm, middle is 1ohm and far right is 4ohm

i understand ohms law... i didn't know if there was a reason to not be able to wire 4 vc's like that

 
.5 or 4 ohms... unless you can parrallel/series them don't think you can but i don't know
