Ohm Load?

If your amp is 1 Ohm stable it will likely put out significantly more power when shown a 1 Ohm load as opposed to a 4 Ohm load.

Generally that's the reason a substage is wired to a 1 Ohm load ~ to get the most available power from the amp driving it.

Yeah I would defiantly watch that because if your amp isn't 1 ohm stable you could burn it up.

 
there isn't really a difference running them at 1 or 4 ohms. but since you have the JL, go with 4 ohms as stated above. might draw some more current doing that though.
