My moms bf has 4 12's for home audio that he would like to power properly. They are single coils and have an 8 ohm load...he says he can wire 2 together to get a 4 ohm load. But what kind of ohms can he get if he wires all 4 together in either series or parallel and what are the main differences when it comes to wiring in series or in parallel. Thanks guys //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

You can go to Sonicelectronics.com, or Crutch field, and find a SVC(single voice coil)8 ohm sub, and find wire diagram for an 8ohm sub, and choose how many to wire up, and gives you detail/ diagram of subs and ohms loads.Easier to see rather than to tell you, not so confusing for you.Just takes a few min, and patience with a computer.Hope this Helps, and you can print and take w you/save for future use:D
