Ohio Generator alts...anyone use 'em?

well, my alt has been to them 2 times to fix the poor output at idle.. besides the fact that it was supposed to be a 200 amp and only does 180 max

getting ready to send it back the 3rd time..

Have you checked for belt slippage? What type of vehicle is this in?

put a brand new belt on when i put the alt on, problem occured right away. I don't know about slippage but the pulley is almost identical in size to the factory one.

its on a ohc 4.0 explorer

the last time i sent it in was to have it externally regulated.. they said they would fix it..

came back and worked the same.. i honestly think they forgot about it.
