I think it's a fine line they walk. Cities are going to have to determine if they want to lean into police action that caused the protests in the first place or if they want to lean out they need to understand that damage will be done to people who don't deserve it. Either way it appears this will be the case because police can't stop getting people killed. You also have to look at the population of protestors vs the population of the police. I'm all for calling in the national guard, I'm not for calling in DHS thugs without identifiers. The national guard as far as I'm aware has done nothing wrong to any protestor.

I think a single warning should be issued nation wide. All Riots and Looting WILL STOP as of right now. ANYONE found rioting or looting will be shot.
Then, follow through with the bullets. Get them ******* in line!

Who makes that determination? The constitution doesn't stop protecting free speech because of the actions of a few. The states are already in about as hot water as they can get in this regard by declaring riots. The determination as of lately seems to be made by police and by right wing media that Trump listens to. If those are who's deciding it then we may as well just call any opposition a riot and enact full authoritarian rule. The fact is that's not how it works and it's why the ACLU is involved. They can't even determine the difference between a journalist with a giant camera and someone throwing fireworks, why do you think they can determine who gets to protest and who doesn't?

Are you in a city? Why do you want them to be forcibly crushed so badly? People should be hauled off to court if they do violence or looting, not shot. That logic's what got us into this mess. Cops aren't judge, jury, and executioner, nor are DHS agents, so what exactly do you want them to do again? If I go out and bust a window, even on the police station, I'm not going to get shot. I'm going to get arrested, so why do you want them to die? Says more about you than them.

Here is the thing... I don't care if some coward who attempts to murder another human takes the room temperature challenge. I will lose NO sleep. If someone is caught raping a woman or child... hand me a dull knife, I won't hesitate to remove his dick and let him bleed out. I will lose NO sleep. These cowards that are destroying other peoples lives that had NOTHING to do with any "Peaceful Black Man" getting killed should be put in a container and dropped in a river. These lives they are messing with support people with special needs, elderly people, disabled people, sick people... the list goes on and on. I feel no pity if any of these cowardly criminals take a nine inch nail driven through a bat to the back of their heads. They don't care who they are affecting or who they could be killing with their actions... with their selfishness and desire to cause chaos. With their wanting need to steal and commit criminal acts.
