Really curious how many people who voted for Trump will vote for Biden. The same media sources that kissed Bush's *** kissed Trump's, so the odds seem pretty low that there would be a political exodus. They're also the most stubborn voters in the country, and often vote for single issues. I guess if they're going to vote for anyone democrat it should be Biden though since he's republican-lite.

It's pretty funny to watch all the attack ads of calling him a socialist or saying Bernie had a big influence on him. Just more lies from Trump's circle, Joe's been a stubborn establishment hack for his whole life and he hasn't given progressives a single inch. His idea of a compromise was lowering the medicare age to 55 instead of medicare for all lol... Then he even back-tracked from that and made it 60 on the DNC platform. He's also slowly distancing himself from medicare for all "who want it" which is for purely corporate reasons. Originally it was going to be a moment for the industry to end this m4a business altogether for generations by pushing sick people on to the government plan and making a comparison basically of how sick people cost more to insure than healthy people to show they can do it cheaper (bullshit according to every study), but now with so many people out of work they're scared it'll actually work as intended and poor but healthy people will join also, so they want to wait for the unemployment numbers to go down first.
Those who would have voted for Biden after voting Trump, will likely not due to Kamala being the VP. She's a token "black" woman who has ties to slavery and high incarceration rates of POC.

Don't even get me started on Parma Inc bro. Shit pisses me off. I believe in healthcare for all. I just think they need to do a better job of paying for it. There is SOOOOO much waste in this country that it's insane. Most people are clueless, the way they are with everything. My thing is equal rights for all. Healthcare for all. Education for all, and for fucks sake, pay the teachers more money. I think they should make three times what they make. This, "Dems are gonna take our guns", is garbage. Nobody's taking my guns and I aint repulican. I honestly don't understand how ANYONE could vote for trump. Then again I don't understand why people are ignorant bigots.
For all legal citizens*

The whole gun confiscation thing you're on about is nonsense. CA recently had their magazine size ban thrown out by the court system, that ban itself should be enough indication to you that they're trying to heavily limit gun ownership. The whole "dems are the ones taking our guns" is bullshit. It is the party that is more apt to do so, but it's people on both sides succumbing to propaganda about how guns are sooooooo dangerous that they're pushing through legislation that does remove the rights of citizens to bear arms.

It takes one false allegation to have your gun rights stripped from you with no recourse aside from investing all your money into litigation.

Preaching to the choir bro.

Your statement that (paraphrasing) "nobody is taking our guns" isn't true. The empirical is pretty clear that gun ownership is more limited than it's ever been in the entire existence of the USA.
I'm completely fine with limited gun ownership bro. I just bought a S&W 9mm. It's actually easier for felons to get guns. I buy a lot of used guns. The Bill of Rights is a joke, that not everyone gets. What do you want me to tell you?

I knew he was going to pick her the moment it was clear he was going to get the nomination, but yeah she's pretty crappy. I didn't agree about that token black thing with Obama, but I do with her. Her prosecutor record is abysmal as Tulsi Gabbard laid out at one of the debates. Thing is though, just like the conservative side, most democrats aren't very well informed about the nitty gritty details either and attack ads aren't taken seriously. She isn't popular with younger voters, but then again neither is Biden. I still say (although I don't like her either) that Warren would have been the ideal pick for him. A lot of younger voters like her even though she's a faux progressive and her record is significantly better than Kamala's.

This is true, but the courts are going to be extremely rigid about this. Even the liberal courts like the 9th circuit. The fact is they have to go about taking guns or gun peripherals away in a way that exhibits due process. In other words, not like when Trump suggested taking them away first and due process afterwards.

Magazine size is a hard one because why do you really need enough bullets to shoot up a school or concert hall? Probably you don't, but extending magazines is very hard to regulate. The most important part of a law against stuff like them is that it's well informed and actually addresses the issues. One thing that politicians never are is informed on guns. You've got conservatives that ban even researching gun related deaths and you've got democrats who couldn't pick out an assault rifle from a line-up of pistols with a bunch of attachments and an AK-47. Research is step 1, not banning anything and not ignoring the societal issues caused by gun violence.

I actually love Obama. He was presidential. Like JFK. Like Jefferson.

Yeah, I meant he brought more to the office than his identity. He's definitely better than Clinton, Bush, or Trump, but in terms of broken promises he's guilty too. Just depends on how you grade them. Relative to other recent presidents he's great, relative to progressives he kinda s ucks. Kamala I'd still rank as better than Clinton, Bush, and Trump, but probably not hw. Her policies might be better than hw's, but he didn't lie about what he believed in or stood for.

Agreed. Alot of it just depends on what you value. Obama was well spoken, educated, and had a beatiful family. Leadership wise he was a total pushover (especially internationally), had tons of broken promises, and arguably made race/political party tension the worst they've been in a long time. Great person and great brand/image but so-so leader
Why would you owning the vehicle make the rates cheaper? Or are you saying that you are covering it on your policy vs him having his own policy?
Bolded is how I read the original statement. Put the car title in your name and then add the person (in this case dad) as a secondary driver essentially giving them a much cheaper rate. Parents do the same thing for college aged kids because reliablity alone would be 200 dollars a month if the college age kid had his name on the car title/policy

Covering it on our policy. The car was originally hers so we just never switched the title and continued to insure it through ours. Originally we were going to transfer the title, but once he saw the prices for insuring what's basically an end of life car it's not worth the money or the trouble. I'm pretty sure we could get in a wreck that's our fault and it'd still be cheaper than michigan's clean record prices unless it came with a DUI or something.

Correct Mastershake, he's a secondary driver despite him having a better driving record than my fiance. Michigan dgaf.
