Don't know what you're asking. The feds had no reasoning for any of the offenses brought in the lawsuit.

The DNC? They're small fries compared to what their real sponsors pull in. These are the companies who control what the companies say.

Those and the interests of their CEOs, stockholders, and the CEO of the individual networks and their other business projects like how Bloomberg wouldn't be attacked by Bloomberg News or Bezos wouldn't be attacked by the Washington Post. Check out Anderson Cooper on that list for example. Do you think he's going to cover the merits of Net Neutrality? How about NBC who's owned by Comcast? How about CNN, do you think they're going to give socialized medicine or insurance premium stories a fair shake with that list? In terms of the DNC remember correlation doesn't equal causation, lobbyists from those companies are strong in Washington, they get to them in other ways and you bet your bottom dollar they're in bed with Republicans and Fox too. I'd never say the RNC is Fox's primary sponsor lol, and Fox is more relentlessly partisan than any other major network.
If I was the defense attorney I would plead the 5th. If you don't admit to whatever, and there is no witness to the "crime", you cannot convict. Think about it... if they admit to whatever then the media has a field day saying Trump sent these lawless police to hurt people. COME ON MAN... You know what's going on here.

Bro, your mind is reaching out for something that makes these officers not at fault but reality says it is. I don't know why you're holding on so hard. I admit there's rioters in the crowds, I don't know why you can't admit that there's officers out there beating the shit out of people for no reason or shooting journalists who didn't do anything. Once again I'll say, there was no defense for any press member named in the lawsuit being detained or attacked. They lost their qualified immunity because they had no defense. They don't just give that shit up, those officers are in for a world of potential hurt because they gave it up, presumably as you said to avoid incriminating their organization's motivations. What was so incriminating that saying nothing is better than saying anything? Obviously the truth wasn't so pretty. Legally you can't assume that, but the consequences were putting them out in the open and vulnerable to significant financial risk. The police never do that, neither do the feds unless they feel there's no justification for their actions, and that's a low low standard.

So you're talking about their bias towards conflict, once again I fail to see how you think that conflict coverage is proof of the DNC playing some hidden role despite having no capital compared to their real sponsors. Bro, they're small change, but conflict brings in the bucks. If all there was is protestors beating up cops as they went about their day the media would be eating that up too.

The big networks really only exist for big events on the scale of 9/11. In the absence of that they conjure up conflict to keep people glued to their programs when the news doesn't justify acting that way. You don't get people glued to the TV if they're covering the text of political bills the way they probably should be.

All I know is you burn a building, that's a reason. You throw objects at cops, that's a reason. You physically assault a cop, that's a reason. You can't do these things and then throw your hands up and get away with it. When you are doing these things then you are NOT protesting, you are rioting. The Feds gave the opportunity to disperse on their own. It was ignored over and over. The feds DO NOT have to be nice and give anyone rioting a chance to leave. But they did. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes like batons, pepper spray, arrest.

The journalists? lmao. No instance of this has yet been observed including by the defense.
F uck the journalist. They need to stay the hell back, out of the way of the Feds and let the Feds do their god damn jobs. The journalist don't need to be in the middle of the crowd to get coverage, they have f ucking zoom lenses. Being in the crowd just makes it more dramatic for viewers and creates an obstruction for law enforcement.

They weren't, they were off to the side in every case and identified themselves pretty clearly as press. Got any more wild assumptions to clear up?

Funny you mention that though, the feds said during oral arguments that the press should have their own designated area over 2 blocks away. Ever heard the phrase, "Democracy dies in darkness?" The press should have a good view of everything and be left alone.

Right... I never saw them in the crowd. Never saw them gagging from the pepper spray. You see what you want. I was always talking about the rioters. I don't care in the least about the journalist. If they choose to get in the mix fuckem, they know what can happen.

Then you're purposefully obtuse. Kinda figured after all the assumptions you made about the situation despite having a clearly worded complaint which contained responses from the feds in it at your disposal.

Imagine that you're wrong for once, aren't you basically just cheering on civil rights being destroyed? That's a pretty short-sighted view dude.

I know why the Feds are there. To help restore law and order. For some reason there are assholes out there that don't want this to happen. Everyone wants to complain and complain and complain. Get the hell off the streets, go get a hobby and stop ******* up America.

Assaulting innocent people who are complying isn't restoring law and order, but I'm kinda just done barking at wall at this point. Like the ACLU believed as they defended neonazis' right to protest, I believe government overreach is bad for everyone. It's a slippery slope when you start giving up your rights for the comfort of not having to hear about certain people you disagree with.

If they were innocent and compliant... then nobody would mess with them. So Feds are just out looking for innocent and compliant people to razz?
