What is your driving style? Do you drive on average 20 miles a day or 100 or more? Those are determining factors as well. If the bimmer was taken care of and you arent too rough on cars then it could last well into the 200Ks.

Comparing the two for me is easy. I dont like the Pontiacs. But if the 43k mile car was one that I liked then it would be a no brainer.

I dont see what would be the dilemma to be honest. You have a car with 43,000 miles on it and if something did go wrong with it, it will be cheaper to fix. The beamer looks like *** and I am sure you could get decent miles out of it, but the cost to fix will make you sell body parts on the black market.

god help you if you want to change the spark plugs on the w6..... oh and my buddy had one of those w6's and he kept getting intake leaks on it. Went thru like 3 intake gaskets //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif and he was pretty mechanically inclined, so it wasnt like he was a dumbass and couldnt replace it right.

If you can get the maintanence history of the bimmer its an overall better car and gives you 4 doors along with superb handling great looks and a wonderful driving experience. I would go with the BM, but also be prepared to shell out money just in case something does break on it.

its got curbed rims and a cracked front bumper which is a pretty good sign someone lost control or made a few bad calculations when they were driving... not a good sign.

either way its apples and oranges. figure out which kind of car you really want first.
