Not one team in the NHL can match Detroit's talent or experience. They are the most talented top to bottom team and by far the most experienced playoff team. The goaltending will get better for the playoffs and as the Wings showed in 2002 when they didn't win a single game in April and went on to win the cup that they can overcome their problems and they will win their 5th cup in 12 years.
We shall see.....muahahahhaa.....

Im going for the Caps, but they wont make it to the finals due to shitty goaltending //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I do expect them to win against the Rangers though

Can't wait...
seriously...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

ready to see columbus roll detroit.. which sucks.. they ae the only team to really f detroit a few games...

this sucks if columbus wins..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

id go with, boston, caps, pitts, nj,sj,det, chicago, canucks,

which would make det play chicago, which sucks..

reguardless any team who wins this years cup is amazing.. the teams are fking ridiculously all good...

For what it's worth, I think Detroit's goaltending will catch up with them
Disagree... Detroit has been able to win it with mediocre goaltending in the past (Chris Osgoode, Mike Vernon) ... so I think they can do it again.

watch out bruins! Laraque to be in great shape... He says the Thornton will shit in his pants //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Vernon and Osgood then were both better then than Osgood now, especially Vernon.

As I said, it is a risky prediction, and pretty doubtful, but everyone loves an underdog with a rising-star goaltender.

3-1 from yesterday; Caps need Theodore to not choke.

Oh.. definitely. Especially Vernon like you mentioned...

I still see them being good enough though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

What's with the Wings and the DP-like contract lengths?

shmeh.

I don't get it, either. Holland is arguing that the way the salary cap works, their average salary over the duration of the contract is what is counted against their contract, and so it makes managing their cap easier in the coming years. However, when Franzen is 37, he'll still have 3 years left on his contract with a cap hit of $3,950,000 each year, which I would think could considerably inhibit their chance of being competitive then. It does make a lot of sense short-term, though.

Don't get me wrong, Franzen is a great player, but he's not worth locking up for that long. He's going to be 30, and he'll probably peak in the 35-goal range..
but somehow,, since march 2008 franzen has picked it up.. he is scoring just as many goals as datsyuk, z, and hossa..

i think its crazy a quiet big *** guy like him can keep scoring..

even tonight game, he got it in somehow..

i love the games today, det4 cbj1, sjs0 ducks 2

:] made my night but its only game one.. 15 more games to win!

id kinda lead det vs devils 95 rematch
