If you're talking about Cleary's breakaway, he got a shot off on the backhand.

yeah i know he got the backhand, but how far away was he from fluery?(fleury?) a foot or two? he waited too long to shoot, and it was hardly a great save.

i don't watch hockey, just happened to catch the end of game 6 last night. the redwings goalie is a fuckin BEAST

osgood seriously is a beast. or at least has been all playoffs. i've seen him make so many ridiculous saves since the playoffs started

was a good save. The place just went silent then exploded. I hope BOTH teams bring their A +++++ games Friday. Yes, Ill be whining if the Wings dont win, but hey, Ive been a Wings fan for 25 years even before it was the thing to do in Detroit.

For me, it wouldnt bother me if the Pens won if the league and networks didnt shove Crosby down our throats

It was a great save. Fleury read the play well and didn't give him a chance to lift it backhand.
I've been a goalie for ~20 years, it was a very good save.

He could've easily went 5 hole or he had the whole top half of the net. Fluery knew he couldn't raise it backhand and positioned himself perfectly. I literally woke up at 4 am thinking about that play //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Any Detroiters have any recommendations on where to watch the game? I'm thinking Hockeytown but that may be too busy.

As this series has shown, it is crazy how much home ice really does help. It gives you the last line change so you can match lines better and it lets you put your stick down second for the faceoff, another big advantage. Hockey really does have more of a home advantage than any other sport IMO.
