I just think if Florida would have been playing a team with a better offense than Tn they would have lost today. I hope they win out the rest of the year though because I'm always an SEC fan.Tennessee? AbsolutelyFlorida? No.
I agree, Florida better hope they don't have a game like this come the SEC Championship or National Championship (if they get there). However, I don't think Urban Meyer will let anything like that happen. He knows that if he lets his team buy into the hype, then they will systematically shut down and fail.I just think if Florida would have been playing a team with a better offense than Tn they would have lost today. Agreed. I'm glad the game ended up fairly close just to make the ESPN fags look like idiots.I agree, Florida better hope they don't have a game like this come the SEC Championship or National Championship (if they get there). Also, Tennessee did look much better than they were given credit for and I will never count them out as an easy win on any Gator schedule.
Tennessee played well?? They lost!Tennessee? AbsolutelyFlorida? No.

Gator fans always amaze me. I guess you didn't watch the same game I did. Florida fans are highly upset they couldn't hang 60 on UT making excuse after excuse. Weird, I've never seen more excuses coming from a win. It's to be expected though, after all they're used to dominating all opponents in the ACC a few years back when they were Miami fans. Admit it, losing Harvin left a big hole in your offense. "I'm pretty sure" Florida did try to go down field. I recall Tebow frantically looking left, then right, then back left a few times just to dump it off to the short receiver for that 5 yard gain. Then the one where Berry makes a diving interception. Oh and lets not forget this down field play.Tennessee played well?? They lost!Florida didn't play well?? They won!
Florida won by 10 1) without (I'm pretty sure) ever throwing pass where the ball travelled more than 5 yards down field, 2) with Tebow's fumble on Tennessee's 4 yard line (without which the game was on its way to being a 30-6 blow-out, maybe even 37-6), and 3) with three bad calls in a row after Tebow's fumble.
Meyer likes to talk about "not showing anything" against inferior teams when you don't have to, and I feel like that's what he was doing. Tebow is certainly capable of accurately chunkin' the ball well down the field, yet they didn't even try it.
I think Meyer was probably dying to come to the post-game and say "We just dominated/ thumped a decent Tennessee team without even throwing a 5-yard pass." Obviously Tennessee kept him from being able to do that; All he got was a decent win instead.
Pretty nice to "play bad" and still win against a team that "played well". //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Yep, that was an excellent hit!Gator fans always amaze me. I guess you didn't watch the same game I did. Florida fans are highly upset they couldn't hang 60 on UT making excuse after excuse. Get off your high horse. Tennessee played a good defensive game keeping the gators at bay most of the game. An offense usually does have a bad game when the opposing defense plays well.
Just as the Gators were just a few plays away from blowing the Vols out, the Vols were just a few plays away from upsetting the Gators. You're the first Gator fan I've seen that thought they played well that game. Thinking that they were just not trying because they were playing an inferior team is just idiotic.Yep, that was an excellent hit!
However, it was stated that TN played well, whereas now you've narrowed it to just TN's defense. I'd agree with that. If your D can keep the Gators to 23 points, you've done pretty well. I'd remind, though, that the Gators were 4 yards from 7 more points. And, I think that score would've sorta broken TN's back, forcing more risky plays, then mistakes and turnovers, etc. that likely would've led to more Gator points. That's how teams end up getting into the 35-63 point range.
Can't get off my high horse, yet, man ... My team's kickin' it!! I remember the 80's Gators when we sucked half the time, or more. Pretty sweet to have some good times for a while.
