Well he told me that the way some alternators are wired that it wont work because you cant change it. I take the words of you hundreds to the fact it works but is it a universal modification or is there alternators you cant do it to

engine to battery neg + chassis to battery neg = chassis to engine
why does no one understand that?
Was just gonna ask is that why there is 2 wires hooked up to my negative? Since ill be putting 1/0 awg whats the best way to connect it to the battery, some sort of terminal cause im also gonna need space to hook up an extra battery

you should have 3 neg wires at the battery.

1. stock wire

2. engine ground

3. chassis ground

4. IF YOU GROUNDED REAR BATTERY TO FRONT BATTERY

you should have 3 on the positive side at the battery

1. stock wire

2. alt to battery

3. run to the amp. (or rear battery)

am i missing something?

Is this after I'm done the Big3? And my grounded rear to front you mean connect them in parallel/series.

And wait, do I leave the stock cable there? I thought I need to replace them, or am I just adding on more?

 
thats after battery and big 3. i'd leave the stock wire, as it may go to a fuse box somewhere. some people take them out though.

and the battery should be in parallel (+ to +, - to -)
