OEM stereo with amp/sub

I tried searching but i cant find exactly what im looking for so...Just bought a 2010 Impala few weeks ago and the stock system obviously isn't great. Ive had multiple high powered systems in previous cars and always upgraded everything but i don't want to tear this car up. I want to keep the stock stereo interface and just add an amp and sub. I don't know if i want to drop the 200 on a cleansweep, etc. or cheap out with a LOC. Is there some middle ground? I have a RE Audio MX12 that's been collecting dust and needs to be reconed so i was hoping to just buy a amp for it and have a little womp in the trunk. I also have 2 sets of infinity kappa 6.5 components i might install but again, i don't really want to tear the car apart. So some advice/info would be appreciated.

Im already needing to buy a box, amp, some wires, and recone so i guess you could say im trying to keep this system economical.

Again i know this has been asked 100 times but im at work with slow connection, search wasn't working good for me so thanks again!

If your not going for high spl but just upgrade the system moderately then I suggest this

Alpine Electronics of America, Inc.

just run it high level w/ signal sense turn on off the back of the deck. If there is a factory amp bypass it.

me, I go to cartunes buy their cheap azz 60.00 pioneer, all free install 123.00 out the door with everything, then just swap out the headunit if need be....
