reprocessing an already mediocre signal will NEVER yield the results starting with a good source.

I think its a waste of money when you could get A PRS or any decent head unit with high-end 24-bit dacs and add a crossover to it. they all the T/a most just lack a good xover and EQ.

Wrong. I got way better results now then I ever had with the 80prs.

If it was as simple as putting an 80prs in place of the stock system it would already be done. But I can't get rid of the factory radio.

That's the same problem I have, the factory stereo controls everything from the radio to the heated/cooled seats. Bit of a pita [emoji34]

My g37 is the same way. 400$ for an integrated kit to retain controls.

The factory unit is actually a decent unit. If i had to do it id run a stand alone unit mounted up high or in the console.

Other than tgat id make sure if get a highend unit like audison zapco alpine etc..
