How much POWA you running on that ? Only a 2.5 coil ?

only around 500. and its a 3". They can handle I'd say around 1500 comfortably, 2k if you wanna push it. Rated for 1000.

Just ***** that getting the from canada. You dont see many around, I just jumped on this one when I found it locally.

Either way. OA subs are boss, best sub for the money for sure. Good SQ, and get real loud, and real low. Personally, I'd be looking to give them about 2k power for the pair. They will certainly do great off the saz1200 though.

They will build you some..but they will cost more than the 18s. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif why not 12s though? They work in pretty small enclosures.

Not to thread jack but I've been considering these subs myself but I had a couple others I was comparing it to in a similar price range. I could get one of the OA-15 for 185 shipped. 2 other subs I was comparing it to was the psi platform 1 and the incriminatory audio LI. Any thoughts in comparison. I would be running it off of 1500rms

I would still take the OA over both of those. PSI is the next on the list, but the OA for price per what it offers is hard to pass up on.

I have to agree with you there. They seem like the best bang for the buck. I've been unsure about PSI for a while but what caught my eye on the IA is it has a 3" aluminum coil instead of the 2.5 copper. That should raise the thermal limits right? and its only $209 shipped. If I was running 600w-1000w I would be all over the OA, I'll be giving it 1500w so I was thinking I might be pushing the limits of the OA.

Of the OA? I like them better than many others. Looks like its stronger and takes less surface area of the cone.

FYI: An updated ETA for the 18's has been posted on our Order web page along with our Facebook page. Looks like they will be done earlier than the previous batch and pre-ordering may be closed in another 30 days or so.
