Obsidian audio? Too good to be true?

I've heard some wonderful reviews, and I want to get a 15 or 18 and toss it in a 2008 Scion xB, will it get low in the right box? The amp would be right around 600rms to 1000peak. I love the lows, and the price on these is great. So if it's a good sub, 15 or 18? I'll probably be getting a better amp soon, of necessary.

Ive had 4 of them. They arnt bad for the money. Get the V2s. I was going to get 2 of their 18s but decided to go with DC this time. Im very happy with my decision.

My 18 got nasty on 1200 watts. My 15's got REALLY nasty on 2400.

Depends on the space you have. If you have room for the 18", by all means go for the 18". Don't let anybody tell you that it will be slower, sloppier, or do anything better than the 15... because they will be dirty liars.

I LOVE my obsidians. Not too good to be true at all! I have 2 15's and my box is tuned at 28, and they love the lows!

Tantric audio has a 24" coming out that is suppose to be the real deal like 10 or 12kw

It's going to use their SHD motor, which they rate at 5k.
