That was the pitch on the income tax to begin with. It's only for all those "rich" people who make more than 3000$ a year. 100 years ago a 10$ coin was half an ounce of gold.

The truth is that the real rich people don't pay taxes now and never will. 250,000 a year is barely out of lower-middle-class in major cities; and, through the magic of inflation, within 20 years it'll be worth even less if anything. Thinking that you're entitled to the fruits of somebody else's work and believing that the government redistributing wealth will improve your lot is dishonest, infantile, cowardly, and flies in the face of all historical evidence.

Socialism is, was, and always will be a creation and tool of the incredibly rich to control the masses by making them dependent on their table scraps.

One things for sure....Obama is trying to get the US outta debt. Not sure how that's going so far but seems his little minions don't really care how much debt we're in.

Also....the war doesn't help any either. As I think the majority of the $$ went towards it.
