First things first, that sub is in the wrong place. Should have placed it as far away from the (internal) port end as possible.

Sounds like an enclosure issue to me.
Either the box is too large, too much port area, or playing too below/above tuning.

could be lots of problems... to big.... wrong port... ect.....

i bet its the 1000/1 when i had my old one running at 1.5 ohm on 2 13w7's it did that when it hit a certain freq. changed the amp to my autotek and it was fine

im putting the full 4k off my autotek on a single omega 18 and it takes it like a champ..
