Hey guys i was just wondering if a digital audio 12' comp sub is any good?? I reciently purchased one and a RF punch 400 amp from a buddy for 75 bucks. Its in a sealed wedge box...the amp i was planning on bridging down to one channel. The car that this would be going into is an 06 bmw 325i.

I listen to mostly classic rock with some rap so im looking for something that is quick and sounds good rather that something that is boomy.

If you guys dont think that would sound good then im prolly gona go with a jl audio 10w6. If i do go with the jl audio 10w6 then what amp should i be looking for?? Is the jl audio 500x1 enough for the 10w6?

I plan on placing the sub in the trunk which has no ski hole...there is a place in the back seat where the center folds down and you can cut a ski hole out...do i need to do this?? Also do i need a sealed or ported box??

Thanks so much for the help guys!!

Sorry for making another thead...i wasnt expecting such a quick responce from you guys..

The ski hole that i was refering to is where the back seat folds down to access the trunk..

So digital audio is crap?? If thats the case then im going to go with a jl audio

10w6.
