Nsb 100

I have a nsb125 and its ridiculous....not even close to the 2400 imo

But not for daily....your alt wouldn't be able to charge it fully....if you got the time to give it a good charge once a week than ur good

you serious? you can play 4000wrms off your battery for a week with just the alternator charging, before its low enough to force you to charge it with a stand alone unit?

edit: whoops, thought you were currently running the mm4000

Whats it compare to?
I know that they are good.

Maybe compared to a hc2400.... hows it stack up?

I have never used NSB, I am getting one to try in my new setup...

But I would see how they compared to other batteries..

Note: Daily use with 300-500 amp draw at the very most.
The NSB100 would walk over the Kinetik for burps. But it will get weaker and weaker from daily use.

how often do you recommend it being charged?
Well at least once a week over night would be good if it were me....or 2 times a week would be even better.

another thing...
whats the best way to go about "training" a battery (eg NSB 100FT) to float at 13v or higher?
Well right now ive been chargin it for a while, it was at like 12.8 and i had it on a 14.8ish charge for like 3 days and its just now at 13.0 resting

If you have the time and patience....get a 30amo/2amp and keep cycling it...go up to 15.5 than down to 13ish and back and forth for a while...that seems to work best but im just gonna keep this charge on for a few more hours than see what happens

Good Luck....and yours may have better results i believe mine is a lil bigger...119lbs...hate loading this ***** especially with no cute like braided straps like kinetik haha:p:
