Nothing Fits My Needs

Ok, I am super picky when it comes to electronics. All I want in a head unit is a head unit that has the preset buttons on the head unit and allows around 500 and up folders on a USB flash stick. I do not want to use an iPod. Having a USB flash stick allows me to customize folders the way I want it to be. Besides constantly charging your iPod is kind of bad for the battery.

Anyways, I just can't seem to find the right head unit for my needs.

Pioneer- I can't find any stereos that have the preset buttons. Pioneer does allow you to have around 500 folders on USB drives though. Fail

Kenwood - The search function is way too slow. I am very spastic when it comes to electronics. Allows a lot of folders but not around 500... "Fail"

Sony - Has preset buttons. Folder count only 120ish "Fail"

Alpine - Was looking at the CDA-9886 Has the preset buttons! Does not show folders on the headunits unless there is a file in it. Defeats the purpose of having: artist/album/song.mp3 "Fail"

JVC - I can't find info on the folder count... No preset buttons except on the super cheap model! "Fail"

Eclipse - Will not show folder names on some head units. Other units will not alphabetize the folders... Unless there is a way around this. "Fail"

I just can't find a simple stereo that will have the stupid preset buttons there(I am very spastic when it comes to radio stations), and allows me to upload my music in files such as artist/album/song.mp3

1) yes, you're retarded picky

2) ipods gonna be so much easier and a LOT faster

3) make playlists on an ipod = better, faster, and more organized than a folder setup

4) its not bad for the battery, unless you are referring to wearing the battery out. The ipod will break before your battery needs replaced.

well I want a girl like Gina Carano that has bank like Trump, pays my bills like a whipped football player and that's a freak like Jenna Jameson. people in hell want ice water, you don't always get what you want in life.

*sigh* Hibernating for ten years may solve it, but there will always be a stupid down side to something. I hate politics. It kills technology....Anyways.

Question. Would you people say that Sony is a stay away?

Kenwood is out for sure. The units are slow as hell when searching. Pioneer is out for sure. It has no preset buttons. JVC, not preset buttons, so it is out.

So I have Eclipse, Alpine and Sony left. There are solutions for these but will be a pain for these.

What would you say is the best rout for my needs?

Kill Yourself... Then you won't have to worry about it.
Right, I also didn't know that adding a few lines of code to alphabetize folders took so much money and technology to do for Eclipse. Or allowing sub folders on Alpine head units.

Why does everyone give so much crap about Sony? I like the head units a lot except for the 125 folder limit. Pretty much crap to me. 125 what a joke.

Get over it? It's probably illegal music anyway, you shouldn't have it!
