You shouldn't...I've never carried back a meter...but I've carried back a lot of broken tools...and here they've lways exchanged for equal or better to replace it....Hmm, I may have to try that. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Do I need the receipt or anything?

i left a flathead ontop of my radiator/coolant resevoir..poped the hood 3 days later and was still chillin there. so lucky.I've left a few tools in the engine bay. one time i slammed a pair of pliers in the hood.
My battery charger has an automatic 2 amp setting as well. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifThat's better than what I expected to see, a picture of a dented hood. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Do yourself a favor, buy a battery tender. They are a low amp charger that senses when to turn on/off for you. No need to check on it.

edit you can find them cheaper, just linking for example.
Your charger has a 'tender/minder' setting, or just drops down to 2 amps? If you mean the former, nice charger. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif If you mean the latter, that's pretty common in chargers and not the same thing as a tender. My battery charger has an automatic 2 amp setting as well. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
The manual setting just lets me keep the voltage up the way I want to. When I leave the charger on overnight I set it to the automatic setting.
