Do yourself a favor, buy a battery tender. They are a low amp charger that senses when to turn on/off for you. No need to check on it.

The manual setting just lets me keep the voltage up the way I want to. When I leave the charger on overnight I set it to the automatic setting.

My old charger was a completely automatic one and it sucked. It would say the batteries were at 100% even when i knew they weren't and would only float around 13.2 volts.

Your charger has a 'tender/minder' setting, or just drops down to 2 amps? If you mean the former, nice charger. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif If you mean the latter, that's pretty common in chargers and not the same thing as a tender.

It is an "automatic" 2 amp setting that senses when the batteries are 100% full, then goes into float/tender mode.
