Get a XXX you will be quite pleased with output and SQ, seems like shipping would be a b*tch to Hawaii though. The XXX and Brahma are too similar to notice a difference in sound IMO, and too similar in output with the XXX slightly better in the correct setup for both.

how loud will an brahma with a ed nine.1 amp compared to 2 12" w0's with akicker 500.2 amp?

or

xxx with a ed nine.1 compared to the w0's ?

i want more spl with good sq what would u suggest for 1 12 or 1 15 that i want to blow away 2 type r's with a alpine 300/1 amp to each sub?

ed nine.1 is a perfect amp for a brahma

the brahma has sick output potential but has unbelievable SQ. SQ: 9.8/10 SPL: 8.9/10

the XXX is a bit more SPL oriented than the brahma, can handle more power, and has great SQ, but not quite as responsive as the brahma. SQ: 9.2/10 SPL:9.8/10

10 being of course the greatest subwoofer known to man

on a nine.1 the brahma would be a better choice, as it will have better SQ along with possible better SPL due to lower power requirements.

If you plan on getting a second 15 down the road, then I suggest getting an amp that puts out the power you want into a higher impedance, such as 2 or 4 ohm. that way if you upgrade and get a second 15 (making sure they are both dual 4 ohm subs now...) u can just run that same amp at 1 ohm, giving both subs ample power. Good example is the Viper2500d.

Thanks for the suggestion I went with 2 12w6v2's in a vented box. The one 15 I was looking at wouldnt ahve been cost feasible if something went wrong with it warranty shipping costs and what not. Its more than plently loud. Somethings going to fall off of my truck before I can even take the volume up more than half way.
