I think if you have to think about it this much, then don't buy it. I'll tell you this though, I bought one for 130, wasn't for me but it was worth it. Running @ 2 ohms and the amp gets HOT, but has never failed. Used it on a 6hr trip with the music decently loud most of the time and never failed. It's a good amp.

agreed. memphis amps go for pretty cheap secondhand. I got my 1500 for 150 and that sucker gets so effin hot! But still a good pretty good amp!
