Not oversized 6.5"s...help

I have ran the 6.5"cx62s both v1 and v2. They seem to be oversized creating a small gap when i mount them due to the ****** mounting options in the G5. I have been having troubles with one and am going to send in both my sets to have to all replaced and to see what in the world is happening to them. When i get them back i plan on selling them and trying to find some normal 6.5" mids.

I am looking for something relatively cheap because I only need two mids. I have a little over 60rms @4ohm and a little over 100rms @2ohm to feed them. I am looking for some that can do approximately 80hz-2.5hz or maybe a little higher.

Any suggestions. I guess you can say up to $200 budget, but i really would prefer to spend the least amount possible.

BTW im more of a SQ guy. Def dont care about gettin all that loud

I have come to the conclusion that I can just make a baffle, drill new holes in my door and try that. I am still interested in some other speaker options, but worst case scenario I will get to fabing up some custom baffles whenever I make it back home.

A baffle would be the cheapest solution. I like speaker rings from avpriority on eBay. eBay My World - avpriority I ordered two pairs from him in 1/2" thickness and 1/4" thickness. In my case his "oversized 6.5 inch" rings did not have a large enough opening, so I had to go at them with a bastard file. I really appreciated not having to make my own baffle rings and all his stuff is CNC machined.

What mounting depth do you have available?

iono, i dont remember why i didnt want to make baffles in the first place. I think it was because I didnt want to drill holes into my door. It also may have been because i knew water got into my doors and i will have to resin the mdf which would be even more money. I may just drill into the door and screw the speaks right into the door.....iono. I am caring less and less about audio as the days go on.
