I was wondering what the problem is with my system. I have a 2002 F-250 Regular cab. Behind the seat are two audiobahn aw1006q ( 900 RMS each ), with an a1300hct pushing them ( 1200 RMS@ 1 ohm )

This I think would be more that enough in a truck, its not. The subs are in a sealed box ( I listen to mostly rock ) Is the box too big? it can't be lack of power. What is my problem? Thanks for any input on my situation.

Big boxes are better, is your amp made by Audiobahn? I would suggest getting a good amp like Tsunami.

try reversing the polarity on one of the subs. I'll need more info on the box.

Ported are always louder, but have you messed with the gains? How long have you had this system, because after a while you get used to it...

The amp is the audiobahn A1300hct, I got the amp about a week ago. The box is .75ft per side from what the dealer tells me, not sure though. The amp should be OK as I have read the reviews, and I paid enough thats for sure ( got it from a dealer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif ) I will try to swith the polarity on one sub to see if that helps. The dealer tells me to port the box, but I think its too small for that. I don't really know. Thanks

build your own ported box it will be much better.

OK I tried to switch the polarity on one of the subs, it got worse

. I don't get it, I have tried everything I can think of. I have discovered that if I have the doors open the bass is good, but when I sit in the cab with the doors shut it dies. What could this be? What can I try? Thanks

You only reverse the polarity when you invert the subs.

I have discovered that if I have the doors open the bass is good, but when I sit in the cab with the doors shut it dies.

My truck does the same thing, i think it has to do with the airspace inside the cabin itself. To help with this i ported my box(listed below). It increased the output but it's still much louder when i open the door, so i'm really not sure.

weird because audiobahns are really loud in the correct install. my friend ur only hope is to build a ported box, or atleast get a bigger sealed box. .75 just isn't enough.

I don't think the box is going anywhere....

The door acts as a port, same on my car. You pick either new subs or new box...
