OP
Screw the spare tire lolIf i could squeeze another 12 ported i would have already.
The trunk opening isnt huge, and the box has to be easily removeable for access to spare
The options above are pretty much my only options. I have thought of ways around this for months with no luck.
i wish, but i do alot of trips to see the fam, so a spare is neccessary. If i stayed local all the time, i would do it.Screw the spare tire lol
Is that the one I sold ya and needed reconed?Intresting I have my 12" Q on a sae-1000 in a box 2.5@32 or so and I love it.
I have cut out the ski pass metal plate, removed rear deck speakers, and deadened the rear shelf. Cutting metal is a nogo, as i dont want to weaken the rear structure.how about working on getting the sound into the cabin? Cut outs in the rear deck with grills, remove metal/deadening behind back seat, etc...
Looks like your box pretty much seals off the sound from getting into the car.
Sawzall all the unnecessary metal out of the rear shelf so sound can get in the cabin, even a 10" hole in the middle of the back deck with grill cloth should gain you a couple of deebeez. SAZ 1500 on a Q should be fairly impressive...how about working on getting the sound into the cabin? Cut outs in the rear deck with grills, remove metal/deadening behind back seat, etc...
