If i could squeeze another 12 ported i would have already.
The trunk opening isnt huge, and the box has to be easily removeable for access to spare

The options above are pretty much my only options. I have thought of ways around this for months with no luck.
Screw the spare tire lol

Intresting I have my 12" Q on a sae-1000 in a box 2.5@32 or so and I love it.
Is that the one I sold ya and needed reconed?

I say its your cars acoustics. Friend has same car and he ended up just doing a 3-way front stage of some morel's and it sounds kicks *** for what it is.

He had a 1000rms Premier sub back there for awhile, but never could get it loud and gave up on it.

how about working on getting the sound into the cabin? Cut outs in the rear deck with grills, remove metal/deadening behind back seat, etc...

Looks like your box pretty much seals off the sound from getting into the car.

I have cut out the ski pass metal plate, removed rear deck speakers, and deadened the rear shelf. Cutting metal is a nogo, as i dont want to weaken the rear structure.

I have wondered if the box will limit sound getting in the car, since it fills that space pretty much. I have tried moving the box toward the rear of the car more to see if there was a difference, but there wasnt an audible difference.

Im considering the 2 12s ported idea, but might cover the amps somewhat. I have seen the breakaway terminals and thought it was a great idea. My dad uses these alot and can get them for free. Im thinking about having the floor redone for just the component amp laying sideways and doing breakaway terminals for the sub amp amp and mount to back of the box. This could work.

Now, would 2 qs off 1500 wrms be sufficient or should i look at doing 2 ssds off of 1500? I would only be able to give the qs 750wrms a piece, where as the ssds would be getting closer to rated rms.

Would someone be willing to design me a box for 2 12s tuned to 32hz? My dimensions are 14" h & 34" w max. My depth would be my variable. I looks like i need 4 cubic ft for the pair if going off min specs each. Im very curious about how big the box would actually be and iff i could fit it in there.

Sawzall all the unnecessary metal out of the rear shelf so sound can get in the cabin, even a 10" hole in the middle of the back deck with grill cloth should gain you a couple of deebeez. SAZ 1500 on a Q should be fairly impressive...

Sorry to hear it isnt, I dont think more subs ore mroe power is the answer you gotta get the bass into the cabin somehow.

im doing some tweaking with box placement. i reset my gains again. it is louder....i think i was having some mild clipping. it def sounds better. ill give it a few weeks to see how i like it.

thanks to all you peeps for the suggestions
