Not happy enough!

Ok,

I currently have a 12 Q in 2.0@32hz box off a SAZ-1500d. My cars trunk is very well sealed, so it definately affects my sound. Im just not happy with what i have now output wise, and want to try something different. I have a false floor in my trunk ( which i need) so my height in the trunk is limited to a 10 or 12. I cant fit a 15 in there.

I dont have many options to go with since i have space requirements.

Im looking at possibly doing:

2 Fi SSD 12's sealed. (have 3.2 cu ft. if i go sealed)

2 Fi SSD 10's ported (2.0 cu ft, might be able to get 2.5 after displacement)

Both getting about 1600wrms for the pair.

Opinions? If this was your car, what would you do?

Are you positive you cant fit a box for 2 ported 12s. That way you could just grab another Q. What kind of car is it?

my box now is 2 cubes after driver and port displacement. I have amps built in to the floor and dont want my box to cover them up for heat reasons.

I also dont want to mount the amps to the box because its a PITA to remove when i go golfing/road trips etc.

I dont know if i just expect too much out of a ported 12. Ive never been metered, or heard anyone elses. So i dont have anything to compare to.

One thing i do know, is e46 BMWs are bass eaters.

I think you should fine some way to get the amps under a seat or something and try and fit a box big enough so you can add another Q

Nope, no room under the seats.

My options are:

Keep the floor (easiest)

Rip out the floor and mount amps to box (too much of a pain)

If i could squeeze another 12 ported i would have already.

The trunk opening isnt huge, and the box has to be easily removeable for access to spare

The options above are pretty much my only options. I have thought of ways around this for months with no luck.

Current box dimensions are 34" w x 14" h x 14"d to give you an idea of space.
