I have cut out the ski pass metal plate, removed rear deck speakers, and deadened the rear shelf. Cutting metal is a nogo, as i dont want to weaken the rear structure. I have wondered if the box will limit sound getting in the car, since it fills that space pretty much. I have tried moving the box toward the rear of the car more to see if there was a difference, but there wasnt an audible difference. Im considering the 2 12s ported idea, but might cover the amps somewhat. I have seen the breakaway terminals and thought it was a great idea. My dad uses these alot and can get them for free. Im thinking about having the floor redone for just the component amp laying sideways and doing breakaway terminals for the sub amp amp and mount to back of the box. This could work. Now, would 2 qs off 1500 wrms be sufficient or should i look at doing 2 ssds off of 1500? I would only be able to give the qs 750wrms a piece, where as the ssds would be getting closer to rated rms. Would someone be willing to design me a box for 2 12s tuned to 32hz? My dimensions are 14" h & 34" w max. My depth would be my variable. I looks like i need 4 cubic ft for the pair if going off min specs each. Im very curious about how big the box would actually be and iff i could fit it in there.
