Not enough receiver power?

Heres a video I just shot...

That sounds pretty bad... LOL!.. are you boosting the bass on the deck?.. is there a sub in the system or are you playing ALL frequencies thru your speakers?.. in addition to your signal/power problems it sounds like you're trying to play some LOWS thru your speakers...

Maybe some bass blockers are a partial solution?...

bass blockers... i had to go back and double check if that deck had a HPF or not, doesnt look like it does. OP, youre probably gonna be best served spending a little cash on a better deck.

Are you streaming your audio from something like pandora or using mp3 files?

If youre using mp3 files, just get a flash drive or make a few mp3 discs, youll be so much better off sound quality wise. Or something with bluetooth so you can still use your phone to select the songs

Cool shorts btw //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif anyways, the video sounded like what the movies make alien transmissions sound like. Might just be my data connection tho. I'll have to look again at home. But shredder sounds like he already diagnosed it for ya, plus going max volume on both sources isn't good

ok, just checked it on my home system, and it still sounds like an alien is trying to abduct you or inject an audio snippet to reprogram our brains

I have a Panasonic CQ-RX100U receiver (50x4 watts). I just bought 2 Dual 6 1/2 4 way DLS654 speakers (160 watts each) and 2 Dual 6x9 4 way DLS694 speakers. I use my aux and mobile phone to play music. My problem is the static when my phone volume is all the way up and my receiver volume is all the way up. The speakers are brand new, so I know it isn't the speakers. Is it because my receiver doesn't put out enough power to play audio to it's full potential? Should I buy another receiver or buy an amp?
well i finally got an answer from guy in ny had hiss type problem with phone/hu last week his was the bt volume was at +4 so if u have any type of auto volume boost (same volume per source) try turning that off check hu setting is what i'm saying, turn all eq's and all down see if that helps..
