I have a 4 channel to power my door speakers but they are not getting enough power...they sound a little static..my amp is 25x4@4ohm...and my door speakers are 40w rms..and all that wattage has to travel through all that wire so it loses some power and wattage...could that be the cause..they are brand new alpine door speakers...anyone know what might be the problem?? i have a mono amp and 4 guage wiring and all that...no yellow top yet...100A fuse under hood...60 and 40A fuses at block...8 guage to the 4 channel and 4 guage to mono..hope this helps

Did you set the gains correctly? Are your RCA's to the 4 channel in good condition? Have you verified that your deck is outputing a clean signal to the amp?

Is the amp a piece of junk?

I think its the gains you might be right..have to double check that..maybe too high...RCA's are brand new RF RCA's...the amp is a US Amps 4 channel..dont think its junk..its nice and clean...just dont think it has enough power though

i found out what was the problem...its that song shorty wanna ride with me...but all the other songs it wounds crystal clear..might be that the song has too much bass which it does..so i went to other track...adjusted some things and bam it all works great now...thanks for the help
