Right On Bean.. that is my nephew's nickname (BeanPole), I nic'ed him that before he ended up being 6'3" and 225 pounds...

V-Twin is a great place, lots of good people over there who like to ride..

Our Corp Office is down in Dallas, next time I am heading that way I will have to check out the local shooting ranges and pack some gear too (thefiringline.com and hs2000talk.com)...

sound like the input rca's are bad on ur amp. take the rca's that are runnin ur front and plug then into ur kicker 1200.1 and see if makes the subs cut out.THen if that is not the problem take the rca out and hook them up to someing else like ur home stereo. And see if they cut out in ur home setup.
the process of elimantion really helps here.

i dont have the kx1200.1 anymore. this 300/4 is the only amp i have.

i need to get this figured out. can some1 please tell me how i can check the rca ins on my amp and the preouts from my HU with my DMM.

have to set red probe from the dmm to nipple and the other to the ground circular part of the rca, could do it when connected to the head unit, could set the dmm to Vac just make sure the head unit is turned on.
