looking at some amps. my selection has changed. i was going to do a brz2400 until i found out i would be out of my most competitive class. so ive been looking at the AP 1500 16v version. or thee regular for that matter. anyone used these. and is a brz1700 really that much betteR?

can these get into the mid 40sdb range?

and what true abuse/power can they put out.

i have a rxd2400.1 for sale

2400 @ 1 ohm

1600 @ 2

1000 @ 4

i had finals sunday. i did a 143 @ head rest due to it was turned down. i oscoped & fixed my db numbers after i ran lol.

i usually do a 45+ at headrest

just my opinion but, I'd run the 1700 over the 1500 and stick to 12v.

The hifonics is much cleaner power and 200more

plus the bzr line is pretty sweet anyway

first off a amp doesnt produce db's. seconly what org are you competing in?

had a txi7506 . and amps do produce DB's if you want to get technical lol. but i know what you mean.

and the class is 0-600(4 ohm power) trunk street. ill have 2 batts from ram designs(bat cap look alikes) so electrical will be stable for 2.5k.

need some kind of power that will impress on a budget too if i can squeeeze that in

amps make power. power goes to subs. that = dbs..

subs are bxi 12s from hifonics, not much specs but the coil is 3'' motor is a beast. its the big brother of the bx line pretty much. they can do 1500 on burps 1k daily.

only can get a 1 ohm load. they are D4 sorry
