After seeing the last box build you did, and now your blown sub, I'm thinking user error may be very evident.

Woven Tinsels do ****, But it takes a lot longer than a couple of months to do what you did...have them tear through the spiders.

It does apear that you did push the sub a little to hard...especially tuning that high...So you had the sub in a box that was to large, and you had the possibility of having it unload on you under tuning.

ya.....and i just paid 60 bucks to have it packed and shipped back to cali for them to probly tell me the same thing. ****ing depressing. if it is so that the box is too large i suppose i learn that the hard way.....flame if you assholes want, isnt gonna make me feel shittier than i do already.

Also, I remember that you trying to get your foot in the door trying to compete...If you want to compete, get a sub that is built to compete with, something bullet proof.

well im betting im got gonna get a new top from tc.....it'll be a****ing miricle if i do.

might just sell off the motor and get something new. i would just get a hybrid made out of it but thatd disqualify me in db drag (like they actually check that, but i play by the rules). i dunno, we'll see once i hear from them on friday or saturday

ha....and an mt would probly work better in the box i have then the tc.....i'll probly get a verdict from thilo sometime friday after they get it. ...its one thing when u have no bass, its another when unknowingly **** ur bass up just when you think u got things on lockdown....i thought i as realitivly safe with that box and only 2.5kw, but i abuse my equpiment and thats what happens when you're rough on stuff and you miss things.......costly shitty mistakes

we all learn the hard way...A new top assembly and box would be ideal. I would say 3.5-5 cubes would be best for that sub and tune it to around 30hz give or take.

Man do a 15L7 in 6 cubes and you should get the same type of scores you're getting now. Do two if you like because you have enough power.
