I've been buying parts for my component install for a while and doing research but still wanted to clear this up. I am putting 2 sundown neo pro 8" speakers in each front door (when available) along with my aftermarket 6x8s in the rear. Also have 2 tweeters and the crossovers already. My question is how to wire all of this off of a sundown sax 100.4. I am familiar with both series/parallel wiring. But do i go to the crossover to the speaker or speaker to crossover or just throw it out completely. Can i wire the rear speakers by just the head unit? And use the amp for the front. I know i through in a bunch of basic questions that have been covered before, but just wanted to consider everything for your input. I'm not totally inept when it comes to wiring, i just don't want to fry a 600 dollar amp.

thanks for any input.

If I have this right you have 2 component sets for each door. I agree with the above that you are going to get best results by running the amp primarily to the front and running the rears from the HU...but you wont be able to run active set ups unless your planning on paralleling tweeters or something...which is possible...what is the resistance on your 8's and tweets...you might can run 2 8s parallel on one ch. and 2 tweets parallel on a ch....
