my first sub was a jl w3 and a kenwood 800 watt amp. I use to run my speakers through my head unit. That was as noob as i have ever had. It barely even flexed my rear view mirror.

connected the pos. wire to the neg on the amp and connected the neg. wire to the pos terminal on the amp. went through a box of fuses until i noticed what i did.

I once tried to make an enclosure that would be holding a 15", a 12", and two 8" that was sealed and had about 3ft^3.



Oh, and by the way, that was running off a durabrand portable DVD player.
