noob looking for some advice

Hi. I'm a bit of a noob with the custom audio stuff and I'm looking for a little advice. currently i have 2 MTX 12'' toad thunder subs connected to a Kenwood amp, 2 Sony 6x9's and 2 stock 5x8's. in the next couple weeks I'm replacing the stock 5x8's with 2 more Sony's. My question is should i keep the 6x9s connected to my deck or should i buy a 4 channel amp and run them off that? and if i buy another amp should i upgrade my alternator (currently have a 96 amp) and battery or just get a capacitor?

welcome to the site, you could get a 4 channel amp if you wanted, but with sony speakers i dont think it is worth it. and either way i dont think you need a new alternator, and like already said do not get a cap.

what no u guys suggest for 6x9's for a guy on a tight budget???

whats a tight budget to you?

idk ill throw somethin out there jus to help, see if ya can get some 6x9 MB Quarts on ebay or even some Infinitys if ya want 6x9s, those two brands seem to go fairly cheap on ebay

personally though, i would put 5.25s or 6.5s , im not a huge fan of 6x9 speakers
