Noise

How do I get rid of noise? Or find out where its coming from?

I have two amps and the 100rms amp makes no noise.

The 250 rms amp makes a constant thumping. I can pause the cd player and it still is just as loud and volume makes no difference. I adjusted gain and messed with every setting.

I use to think it was a install issue but since the other amp doesnt do it im out of ideas.

I searched and only thing that comes up is grounding rcas but all of them have pioneer hu's i have a alpine.

I dont know why the ground or rca would only do it with one amp? Maybe the power difference.

But thats what im about to mess with, I already tried two different rcas but there both unsheilded. I guess im going to ground them on the hu.
