noise?

i installed an alpine headunit to replace my old sony - and ever since then i started picking up noise when the volume started reaching its max...

now i know its normal to eventually hear some noise.. but its almost like i can hear the cd spinning - and im not sure if this has something do with either the difference in s/n ratio since the sony was higher but the alpine is much clearer.. or if it might have to do with the fact that i had to connect the alpine itself to the abttery (harnest wouldnt work) but the sony worked fine... and i kinda skimped on the wirring to the battery thats picking up something... or maybe its just normal...

anyway if anyone has any suggestions appreciate it.

My initial suggestion would be the reground the headunit.
