When my friend has his car running, and your listening to music, and you go to change the song the sub makes a lound thud noise. Or when you put the windows down it makes a lound thud. Does anyone know why? He already replaced his rca's. Is it a bad ground or something? Anyone that can help, please help.

Ground the head unit directly to chassis. Avoid using factory power and ground wires for aftermarket stereo.
