What's worse than hearing bass you don't want to? Hearing vocals and instruments to a genre of music you don't want to.

Depends on where you are. Here there are no court fees for tickets.

call it racial profiling.. the cops saw a truck with dark tint and shiny wheels and thought theyd found target practice for the day.. be happy he didnt decide to be a true dick and search you/vehicle and do whatever else he felt like doing to bust your balls

I was sitting at a light just me and a few other cars and a semi truck. I had my windows up and didnt have my music turned up all that loud. I turn it down at lights 99% of the time anyway. There was a cop sitting the northright of me I didnt know at the time due to not being able to see him. There was buildings and vehicles and gas pumps blocking him. A good 500 ft away plus. I go down the road 1/8th of a mile and turn into the post office. get out and go into the post office come back to my truck and hes sitting behind me and gets out and ask for my ID and says i am getting a ticket bc he heard my truck and it is too loud and could be heard from more than 100ft away. My question is I had my windows up in a group of vehicles, then i drove down the road he lost sight of me never pulled me over when i was on the road. I was out of my vehicle turned off parked. How can he prove it was me who had the music I even said look nothing in here since its a blowthrough he was likewell its in the bed then. I got 111.00 dollar ticket. Should I fight it and have a case since he cant prove it came from my truck windows up, limo tint and was out of my truck and not even in it when he came up to my truck parked turned off and keys out?

That's just how it is sometimes. Cops are lame loser azzholes with nothing else to do. I've had worst happen to me. Two of the times I didn't even have the stereo on. Where I live if a neighbor call noise disturbance on you 3 times, you get a ticket the third time. This happened to me minus the car audio incidents. I was in another state the first to times this guys called the cops on me. I happened to be home the third time when the cop came, and he said he had to give me a ticket anyway since it was the third time. When he arrived I still had no music playing. I had to go to court. The sorry azz neighbor didn't show up to court so it got dismissed. The ones I got for car audio, I went to the court and asked for probation. I have a bad history of cops pulling me over for nothing outside of car audio, and I have no criminal record. I'm fighting a speeding ticket right now. POS cop says he clocked me at 58 in a 40. I made a left turn out of some apartments, he was sitting 100 yards up the road. Are you telling I reached 58 mph in that short distance in a Tahoe? I was driving like an old lady, but they get away with murder. I could go on and on with unbelievable cop stories that happened to me.

I dunno how 20 of 45 is in your truck. But in mine when I had 2 15's it was pretty **** loud. Plenty of volume for a ticket windows up or down.
