No Sound

Ok i hooked up an amp with some sub woofers but the subwoffers are in a box connected to 2 other speakers all in a box and the connections in the back are just one connection not one for the subs or for the speakers, anyways i hooked it up and sound comes out but barely, any suggestions???

A picture would really be helpful here...

How many speakers are we dealing with here? What kind of amp? How is everything wired?

What isn't playing? The speakers or subwoofers? I take it that the subwoofer(s) isn't playing. Check the subwoofer level on your HU. Check the gains on the amp, maybe they are all the way down.
